After School Program

The Vidalia City School System offers an after school child care program for students in grades PreK-5. The students in grades PreK-2 are housed at J. D. Dickerson Primary School. Students in Grades 3-5 attend the program at Sally D. Meadows Elementary School. The program provides quality after school academic and enrichment activities and provides a structured and safe environment for students during the out of school hours. The program is designed to be financially self-supporting and depends entirely on tuition for funding.

The After School Program will be open Monday through Friday, beginning at dismissal time of the regular school day until 6:00 p.m. The Vidalia City Schools' School Nutrition Program will provide snacks. These snacks meet all USDA guidelines. Tuition for the After School Program is $10.00 per day per child.
